Football weather

I loved the weather this morning. When I used to have to be at work at 6:30am I did not care about the weather in the morning nor did I notice it. Now I arrive at work at 9:00am and it is a great time. I can truly relish in the enjoyment of the weather.

I know none of my friends have ever been to my school but it has amazing landscape and a pond in front that I pass each morning. This morning as I walked down the hill with a little chill in the air, I got excited for football season. I know, it is a long way off. But this is football weather, for sure. Also, Lovett has a family of geese in the pond. They just had a little baby. It is so fun to watch the baby and the dad wonder around the grass. Just the small things to praise the Lord for this morning.

I have 6 weeks left in my pregnancy as of today. I am feelling quite "full." But good. I decided a couple weeks ago that how I feel has a ton to do with my attitude.
Then I was reminded of a quote by Beth Moore that sits above my computer....
"We will feel and live off that which we are filled with." Be filled with His Spirit today. Abiding in Him is such an enjoyable and peaceful place. Why can't I remember that everyday?? Maybe I just need football weather all the time.

To make my college roomates jealous...2 words...

YELLOW SAUCE!
That is right ladies. I was in Athens. Without Russ (who does not like Inoko express). This could only mean, yellow sauce and chicken teriyaki from Inoko Express. I know you will be jealous and drooling but I do have to say it was as good as I had always remembered. Fun memories!

P.S.
There are 2 more new blogs below.

My day with Emma

Today I spent my day off with my sweet and beautiful niece, Emma.
Although we were quite busy... I did not get very many good pictures of her.
I still felt these showed her cute-ness.

We were busy, busy. But that is what happens when you are almost 2.
We went to her Kindermusik class which was so fun. Lots of kiddos and fun times with Aunt Kristy and Emma.

The Renovation

We are just completing "phase one" of our renovation before Josie comes.
Here is the first part... Russ' favorite.
From big tv in a tv cabinet... to

A nice LCD tv on the wall. We are really excited about the space this is going to give us in our living room. Obviously, we have to paint. For those of you who have been to our house before, we took out the door to our bedroom and made it a wall for the tv. Sadly, the cute little nook that used to be there had to go.

Long story short... the pictures you saw before of Josie's room. No longer the same room. We switched rooms. Now the master bedroom is on the back of the house in preparation for the next phase of the renovation that will take place after she is born. Here are the pictures of her furniture in the new room (our old bedroom). I think it fits best in there. And I don't think I have put up a picture of the crib yet anyway. Remember this is still a work in progress.

We made this closet on the back of the tv in the living room. The door to her room is now through a hallway that starts in the dining room. (Sorry for people who this is boring... but this is my life right now.)

Here is the hallway to the bathroom.

And here I am 33 weeks pregnant with Mr. T.

I swear he knows I am pregnant. He walks RIGHT beside me or behind me on walks... extra slow. And for other dog people... you know what I am talking about. I can tell he just knows.

Gator Road Rage

Great story....so Tuesday I am leaving work, all is good in the world. I had just purchased a sweet tea from Chick-fil-a,the weather was beautiful and I had gotten off earlier from work than expected. So as I am sitting at a red light waiting to take a left onto the interstate, my theories were confirmed.

Remember I am sitting at a RED light waiting for it to turn green to take a left onto the expressway. Cars are turning in front of me by making left hand turns onto the street I am sitting. Anywho, people begin to "get selfish" and want to make the light therefore blocking me from turning onto the expressway during my green light. This is a common intersection for the Masterson family. We have had many discussions (because I am married to Seinfeld) about the proper way to handle these "selfish people." We had previously decided that a horn- short in length would be appropriate to let the selfish person know that you realize they are selfish and hopefully that will be a reminder for them never to do this action again at this intersection.

So I am officially blocked by two cars. The last of who is a middle aged woman. I (do to my predetermined methods) give her a light honk while nodding my head, smiling and saying awesome. (Please imagine this in your head). She proceeds to give me the gator chomp. Yep, that's right. Both hands straight out... gator chomp. At this point I see the Florida Gators tag on the back of her car and realize my Georgia tag on the front of my car. I begin to laugh. Of course this makes her more angry. But did she really just give ME the gator chomp in traffic because she was blocking ME from turning? After my green light was completely wasted and I am beginning to sit through another red light she drives off while flicking me off. Awesome, I say. Awesome!

My theories are confirmed. Florida Gators fans are most often ignorant (apparent by her lack of driving skills plus her choice of car) and I am pretty sure she had on jean shorts. Yikes. I laughed for hours about this afterward.

Kiddos

So it is true... I have the cutest neices and nephew. I went to hang out with them this week. We had a lot of fun. Raleigh, Camden and I went to the library to hear a story teller, then to Sam's and get the carwashed. After that we met mom and Durham for "chick-a-A" as Camden calls it. Of course we had to have pedicure and manicure time including flower stickers. Here are some fun ice cream filled pictures.

Tagged

My sweet friend Rebecca tagged me...which thankfully I enjoy games like this...I call it the question game.

I apologize to the blog readers since I have not updated in awhile. We have quite a lot going on at our house. Not only do we have a baby coming but we started a renovation on our house today. I know... crazy right? No nesting for me. Ok, mild nesting. The real reason I have not sat down to blog is due to my lack of pictures. I left my camera in the car of the sweet lady who drove me home from Jacksonville. This will kill your picture taking.

First things first (and pictures to come)... the renovation. We are adding on a master bathroom and closet out the back of the house , therefore, trasforming the nursery into the master suite and the master bedroom now into the nursery. Submission. That is all that is needed to be said ladies. Submission.

On to the game:
What I was doing 10 yrs. ago?
1. Getting to ready to graduate from ol' CGHS.
2. Driving the silver Saturn. Goodbye teal Grand Am.

1. Not folding laundry when it is warm... waiting too long till it is wrinkled.
2. Putting off cleaning dishes
3. Craving something sweet after lunch and dinner.
4. Wearing my hair pulled half up... everyday.
5. Checking my email first thing, when I sit down at my desk. (I wish I did my qt then).
